SolarFlats Solar Chargers
SolarFlats are designed specifically to capture solar energy to either recharge, or to keep a 12 volt battery charged up while functioning as a trickle charger.
They are therefore suitable for RVs, tractors, trucks, cars, ATVs, motorcycles, boats, Jet skis, snowmobiles, you name it. In short any vehicle that requires batteries. These solar chargers can also be used to power electric fences, wildlife feeders and a host of other electrical appliances no matter how remote the location.
When a SolarFlat is used as a solar powered trickle charger, the power output does not need to be very high. But when used as a solar powered battery charger a higher wattage SolarFlat needs to be used.
For instance, a SolarFlat 5 can keep a snowmobile battery charged-up while it sits idle all summer long, or a marine battery when not using your boat for longer periods of time. Go a step further and mount a SolarFlat 15 to the roof of your RV, camper or boat and continuously charge your battery everyday without having to think about it.
A SolarFlat can also be used for power tools, electric fences or DVD players, bird feeders, game feeders and many other electrical appliances.
SolarFlats are designed to perform in any environment. Constructed with amorphous thin film, the weatherproof SolarFlat does not require bright light to function. Low-light overcast days can still provide enough solar energy to provide power.
Durability has been taken into consideration, the solar cells are encased in shatter proof glass, thus it is capable of withstanding a rough ride and rough weather conditions.
All SolarFlat models produce 15 Volts DC, only the amperage changes with the model size.
