Solio Charger

The Solio charger is a really a hybrid solar battery charger. What is meant by hybrid is that you can charge it from other power sources as well, in other words a combined system, so you are not limited to solar energy alone.

The Solio Classic and Solio Hybrid 1000 both have internal rechargeable batteries.

When you connect your cell phone, iPod, MP3 or other small electrical device, that device is powered or recharged through the internal batteries in the Solio. This is extremely useful due to the fact that you are not prevented from plugging into or recharging your electrical device from the Solio at night when there is no solar energy available.

Another feature that makes the Solio extremely handy to have around is the fact that you can also charge it from a regular wall plug. Thus you have two possibilities to recharge the Solio: the sun (through its solar panels) and wall outlet (wall adapter is included).

A fully charged Solio charger will recharge your cell phone, iPod or other electrical gadget at the same rate as if it were plugged into a regular wall outlet.

Currently there are two models available, the Solio Classic and the Solio Hybrid 1000 solar chargers.
