Our modern society has become so dependent of electricity to the point that the slightest power outage brings every aspect of our life to a halt. Such dependency is also making us very vulnerable since we have a centralized distribution system. To limit the repercussion of a blackout and to help reestablish a less polluted environment we need to look for alternatives, one viable alternative is discussed in this article.
